FSA-2015-4410

The Department did not fully comply with federal requirements related to multiple federal programs, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid, and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Instances of noncompliance and deficiencies included eligibility determinations, benefit calculations, improper payments, and monitoring of subrecipients. In addition, management did not take full correction action on prior recommendations for the Vocational Rehabilitation, Medicaid, and Substance Abuse programs. Details about these and other findings are provided in the Findings, Recommendations, and Responses section of the report.
