Appalachian State University – Statewide Federal Compliance Audit Procedures
Our audit identified a matter that is considered reportable under Government Auditing Standards and Title 2 U.S. Code of Federal Regulations Part 200, Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (Uniform Guidance). The University did not timely return Title IV funds (financial aid) after students supported by the program withdrew from the school.
