The Cardinal Award

The North Carolina Office of the State Auditor's Cardinal Award is a special distinction bestowed upon some of North Carolina's finest individuals. State Auditor Dave Boliek established the award to honor individuals who care for their home and community resources, much like the State bird vigilantly guards its nest. Recipients exemplify the values of integrity, accountability, and service that the Cardinal Award honors.
