The Office of the State Auditor received complaints through the State Auditors Hotline alleging misuse of funds and violations of purchasing procedures at Winston-Salem State University (WSSU). Our investigation showed that there were questionable expenditures from the Chancellors discretionary funds and general state funds. Our findings and recommendations were submitted to WSSU Management and the University of North Carolina General Administration (UNC-General Administration).
