An allegation was received that the Department of Transportation s (DOT) Division of Highway s Operations Engineer for Division 12 in Shelby, NC was commuting to work in a state vehicle. A review of the Division 12 Operations Engineer s mileage logs revealed he commuted from Hickory to Shelby a total of eight months.
