IT Service Desk Internships
Are you looking for hands-on experience in an internal IT Service Desk environment?
Are you hoping to expand your technology support skills for a future career in IT?
The North Carolina Office of the State Auditor is seeking a student that is willing to learn on the job to serve as our Service Desk intern. In this position, you will get the opportunity to work with our Information Technology (IT) Division on daily tickets that are received when it comes to providing technology assistance to agency employees.
In this internship, you would be supervised and trained by current full-time employees to gain the experience to independently complete Service Desk tickets as they arrive within IT Division. Tasks include managing the Service Desk ticket system, interacting both virtually and in-person with employees that are experienced with technology issues, and closing out Service Desk tickets in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Rising junior or senior majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA

- Competitive hourly rate
- Supervised completion of projects and tickets assigned to the OSA Service Desk
- Internship will be hosted in the Raleigh office
